New Door Ventures

New Door Ventures prepares youth currently disconnected from education or employment for careers through skill building workshops and paid internships. These internships are offered at New Door Ventures’ two business – Ashbury Images, a screen-printing company, and Pedal Revolution, a bicycle shop. REDF worked with New Door Ventures by providing support and performance management services. In addition, REDF was able to develop key markets for Ashbury Images by brokering deals with Safeway and KKR. A project grant from REDF will allow Ashbury Images to purchase a new printer to expand their screen-printing business. An additional REDF grant is in partnership with The San Francisco Foundation. New Door Ventures is a former Portfolio grantee.
