Grantee Farming Hope What We Do > Grants > Explore Grants > Grantee Farming Hope Farming Hope manages a garden-to-table job training program for San Franciscans who have been incarcerated or experienced homelessness. Its paid employment program helps adults transition to personal wellbeing and employment while nourishing food-insecure neighbors and rescuing food from landfill. The need to be needed informs Farming Hope’s work, and fuels its pursuit of lasting social change in its community. Farming Hope’s mission is to empower folks experiencing major barriers to employment to grow and cook food to sustain themselves and their communities.
