Urban Alchemy

Urban Alchemy was founded in 2018 in order to bring a sense of peace and respect to America’s most chaotic urban areas that are struggling with the intersection of extreme poverty, addiction, mental illness and hopelessness. Urban Alchemy’s mission is to transform people and urban spaces with respect and compassion, healing both communities and cities. Urban Alchemy employs individuals striving to overcome employment barriers, and almost all program leaders have themselves experienced long-term incarceration. A $750k line of credit will help UA meet bi-monthly payroll while waiting on government contract receivables, helping them employ 800 individuals during the one year loan period.
