Goodwill of Silicon Valley‘s mission is to empower their employees, their customers, and people with challenging barriers to employment to raise their standard of living and improve their lives through services and social enterprise. Goodwill of Silicon Valley runs a social enterprise, the Donated Goods Revenue business, which includes thrift stores and an extensive commodities reuse/recycle/refurbish operation as well as B2B Contract Services Division. The people employed in these businesses face barriers such as a history of incarceration and homelessness and receive wage-paid employment in addition to supportive, barrier-removing services.
