REDF’s Impact Investing Fund Attracts New Investments
REDF’s Impact Investing Fund (RIIF) recently received two exciting investments. RIIF was selected as part of the University of San Francisco’s Community Investment pilot, receiving $1M to invest in Bay Area businesses that employ and equip people overcoming barriers to work. The fund was also awarded a $1M loan from CommonSpirit Health‘s Community Investment Program (CIP). The CIP helps address social determinants of health by issuing loans that support affordable housing, health clinics and social services, arts and education, the environment, small business and microlending, and other community service organizations.
