Hot Bread Kitchen

Hot Bread Kitchen is a nonprofit social enterprise with a mission to create economic opportunity through careers in food by training low-income and immigrant women, incubating food businesses and creating jobs in urban areas that need them.

Together We Bake

Together We Bake is a comprehensive workforce training and personal development program for underserved and underrepresented women. The employment social enterprise helps women gain self-confidence, transferable workforce skills, and invaluable hands-on experience, which will allow them to find employment and move toward self-sufficiency.

Downtown Women’s Center

MADE by DWC is a social enterprise created by the Downtown Women’s Center to break the cycles of chronic unemployment and homelessness. They empower women to discover talents and develop skills by creating handmade, unique gift items that are sold in their retail locations.

New Moms

New Moms supports Chicago area young moms (aged 13-24) and their children, who are experiencing poverty and homelessness, with the personal and workforce development tools they need to achieve economic independence and family stability.
