San Gabriel Valley Conservation Corps

San Gabriel Valley Conservation Corps is a youth workforce development agency that provides paid work experience in environmentally-focused projects as well as high school education (starting at 16 yrs old) to opportunity youth, ages 16-24 years old. In addition to vocational and educational experience, youth receive professional development skills, case management, scholarships, and assistance with job placement.

Target Population: Opportunity Youth

Eligibility: Must be Age 18-24 for the paid job training, but can enroll in our high school diploma program at 16 yrs old.

Industry: Community Beautification (landscaping, construction, recycling, tree planting, graffiti/litter abatement, etc.)

Transitional Employment Duration: 3 – 7 months
