Homeward Bound of Marin
Founded in 1974, Homeward Bound is the leading provider of emergency shelter and supportive housing for people experiencing homelessness in Marin County, California. A vision that “everybody needs a place to call home” underscores Homeward Bound’s mission of “opening doors to safety, dignity, hope, and independence.” Homeward Bound operates a portfolio of social enterprises embracing a double bottom line: earning programmatic revenue and building skills for people moving out of homelessness. These include Wagster Treats dog biscuits, The Key Room event venue, and a contract meals program.
