Courier Corporation of Hawaii

Courier Corporation of Hawaii (CCH) is a full-service logistics and delivery company specializing in moving documents, packages, air, and ocean freight within the State of Hawaii. CCH hires and supports individuals that have faced barriers to employment, including people with justice system involvement, who are homeless/unstably housed, and who have substance use challenges. CCH is owned cooperatively through the worker collective Obran, and invites all employees to become part-owners of the company.

A $150k line of credit from RIIF will be used to help ease short-term cash flow timing gaps between receivables collection and payroll outflows. In turn, this will allow CCH to focus more on strategic growth and expand its capacity to hire individuals facing barriers to employment.
