Berkeley Music Group – The UC Theatre

The UC Theatre in an independent nonprofit music venue, providing inclusive, diverse, and culturally rich music programming, as well as transformative workforce development programs removing the barriers of entry/advancement into the music business for young adults from marginalized communities in the Bay Area and beyond. The organization is sustained annually by ticket sales, and funding from grants and generous donors. The Concert Career Pathways (CCP) workforce development program is a nine-month hands-on experiential workforce development program established in 2015. From training to job placement, The UC Theatre collaborates with local nonprofits and Industry professionals to mentor, train, and teach the nuanced skills for a successful career in the music business.
