Stephanie Chiu Senior Associate, Government Partnerships & Policy As a member of the Government Partnerships and Policy team, Stephanie supports the implementation of the CA RISE program, helping coordinate across different teams at REDF including Capacity Building, Growth Portfolio, and Government Partnerships & Policy. REDF is Stephanie’s introduction to the world of nonprofits and employment social enterprises. She is inspired by ESEs’ transformative impact on individuals, families, and communities and is excited to be part of a missional organization like REDF that empowers and champions these businesses and leaders. Prior to REDF, Stephanie was a senior tax accountant with over 15 years of client services experience with Fortune 500 companies and high net worth individuals. After dedicating her time and attention to the public accounting world, she wanted to explore different industries, broaden her skills and do more meaningful work. More recently, she served as a research assistant for the faith-based humanitarian organization World Vision, where she conducted extensive qualitative research to identify the most vulnerable children and communities in over 20 national cities. Following that role, Stephanie was able to dive into the talent acquisition industry as a recruiting coordinator contractor for Deloitte, where she found fulfillment in cultivating a positive experience for candidates. Stephanie earned her BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland. In her free time, you can find her traveling, enjoying a good meal (that she doesn’t have to cook), staying up watching movies/shows, or spending time with loved ones – especially animals.
