Emilie Linick is responsible for directing and growing REDF’s impact lending practice. She develops REDF’s short and long-term lending strategy, identifies partnership opportunities, and leads the functions of business development, loan originations, and portfolio risk management, all with a strong customer focus. Emilie enjoys working with REDF’s borrowers and developing innovative and flexible solutions to meet their financing needs for growth.
Prior to joining REDF, Emilie spent eight years at Capital Impact Partners, one of the largest community development financial institutions (CDFIs) in the country. During her tenure there, she was on both the originations and portfolio management teams, and as a Senior Loan Officer, was instrumental in positioning CIP as a strategic partner and thought leader in the education space. Emilie also spent many years in the direct social service and education sectors before transitioning to community development finance.
Emilie holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Lorry I. Lokey School of Business and Public Policy at Mills College. She has served on the board of the Prisoners Literature Project. Outside of the office, you can find Emilie playing tennis, reading, taking art classes, and curating playlists.
