As a manager on the Learning and Evidence team, Carrie helps REDF build a learning culture by helping teams reflect, learn, and make decisions with their data. She supports the development and maintenance of data and reporting systems and guides staff in their use. Carrie is driven by the ways that data can be used for good — using it to improve program effectiveness is one avenue where she feels her contribution can move the needle on improving access to employment for overlooked members of society.
For the last 13 years, Carrie has partnered with a wide range of community-based organizations to help build capacity for data-driven learning and decision-making. She’s done this both internally and as a consultant, and her work has ranged from being an analyst to helping clients adopt new data technology, all the way to creating infographics and data art to communicate messages of impact. She loves solving problems and sharing what she’s learned with anyone who will listen.
In off-hours, you can find Carrie seeking out great comedy or music in LA, traveling locally or internationally, doing something creative, or relaxing with her dog Rosie.
