As a member of the Capacity Building team, Aydon Lee supports the implementation and administrative functions of the CA RISE program. As part of this work, Aydon helps ensure a smooth and consistent experience for ESEs by creating informational materials and providing logistical support for events. Additionally, Aydon manages facilities at REDF’s SF office. He is passionate about reducing barriers to employment and believes that everyone deserves an opportunity to build economic power.

Prior to joining REDF, Aydon worked as a research assistant at California Polytechnic University supporting the study of negotiation practices of diverse groups with the goal to increase equity by breaking negotiation norms and creating materials that support individuals negotiating with a power deficit. Additionally, Aydon co-managed a pro bono consulting committee that supported Central Coast businesses in their mission to become B-Corp Certified.

Aydon holds a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in management from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and is a SHRM Certified Professional. Outside of work, you can find him exploring California, caring for his plants, and trying restaurants around San Francisco.
