Ana is the lead project manager for the Los Angeles Regional Initiative for Social Enterprise (LA:RISE) Youth Academy program. She works in partnership with the City of Los Angeles’ Economic and Workforce Development Department to connect emerging adults, 18-30, with Employment Social Enterprises and WorkSource + YouthSource centers. Ana enjoys fostering relationships while working at the intersection of social impact and government to support agencies in meeting their programmatic goals.
Ana was drawn to REDF for its innovative approach to social impact work and its roots in venture philanthropy. She’s passionate about combining talent across sectors to leverage resources for maximum change. She brings diverse cross-sector experience, with six years of international nonprofit experience, three years of domestic nonprofit experience, and four years of Federal and National Service with the Peace Corps and the Smithsonian Institution.
