Through detailed analysis and tailored recommendations, Portfolio Associate Alexandra Wong helps REDF’s portfolio of employment social enterprises strengthen their business and social supports. She works with social enterprise partners in Chicago, Seattle, and the Bay Area. Alexandra believes that the jobs and supportive services social enterprises provide are an effective way to help people facing barriers to employment thrive. She is inspired by REDF’s work and is thrilled to be able to use her skills to make a difference in people’s lives.
Prior to joining REDF, Alexandra worked at Third Sector, partnering with governments, non-profits, and funders to construct Pay for Success projects and outcomes-oriented contracts to achieve better social services outcomes. Previously, she worked in Deloitte’s Federal Consulting practice.
In her free time, you can find Alexandra in the kitchen trying new recipes or baking bread, in the gym boxing or taking hip-hop classes, or in the ocean learning to surf. She graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in Public Policy, focused on African American and Urban Studies.
