North Lawndale Employment Network/Sweet Beginnings

Sweet Beginnings produces local honey and honey-based skin products in the greater Chicago area and provides transitional employment for formerly incarcerated people reentering society. They are housed and operated under the North Lawndale Employment Network, which provides workforce and wraparound services. REDF assisted the organization by providing funding to increase wages, grow their beekeeping services, and improve marketing capabilities.
