Greyston Bakery

Greyston Bakery operates a commercial bakery, supplying goods to Ben & Jerrys, Whole Foods, and others, while employing people who face barriers to work such as previous incarceration. They are working to expand their Open Hiring program and are working on developing evaluation metrics to measure their impact. REDF will provide funds to support the hiring of an intern for Greyston who will work on building out the evaluation framework, as well as give REDF insight into Greyston’s corporate partnerships, allowing us to apply that learning to help other social enterprises strengthen their relationships with the business sector.
