Green Streets

Green Streets is a social enterprise that provides environmental services for businesses, homes, and market rate and affordable housing properties, while providing jobs and careers for individuals overcoming adversity. They manage recycling & composting services, and also provide education sessions on waste reduction. Green Streets is operated by young entrepreneurs who are investing in their communities and becoming leaders. In addition to providing funding for employee support services, REDF helped Green Streets develop operational capabilities to improve business performance and prepare for a Bay Area expansion. REDF, through a generous donation by the Kindling Foundation, also supported Green Streets with leadership development, and capital purchases to expand their business.
