MUST WATCH: Social Enterprises Respond to COVID-19 Head On

The inspirational, agile, and entrepreneurial leaders who run employment social enterprises are pivoting their businesses to not only retain their employees, but to serve their local communities at a time when help is needed most. Additional $150K in Relief Grants Awarded

In a second round of COVID-19 Relief Grants, REDF has awarded $150K to five additional employment social enterprises. To date, REDF has awarded $850K in emergency funding to 25 employment social enterprises across 11 states. The $30,000 general operating grants will provide immediate financial support paired with advisory services from REDF. Read more!

 

Welcome our Farber Summer Fellows

REDF’s Farber Program welcomed 11 MBA students from across the country earlier this month. They’ll spend their summer working on mission-critical projects for one of REDF’s portfolio partners. While more than one-third of all summer internships were canceled due to COVID-19, REDF remains deeply committed to the Farber program – the technical support Fellows provide will help ensure our partners emerge from this crisis ready to meet the demand.

Our 2019 Impact Report celebrates the collective impact of our social enterprise partners, the people they serve, and the supporters who make this work possible.

 

LA:RISE Receives 2020 Achievement Award

LA:RISE was awarded a 2020 Achievement Award for Community and Economic Development from the National Association of Counties (NACo). The award recognizes innovative programs that modernize county government and increase services to county residents. Read more!
