Nicole Masters VP, Investments & Advisory Services Stronger organizations through smarter grantmaking. As REDF’s VP, Investments & Advisory Services, Nicole Masters oversees REDF’s Venture Philanthropy programs (Accelerator and Portfolio) and the capacity building team that collaborates with portfolio managers to deliver customized technical assistance. Nicole joined REDF in early 2014 as a Senior Portfolio Manager for the last year of REDF’s Social Innovation Fund (SIF) Portfolio. In 2015, as Portfolio Director, Nicole led the design of the national selection process for the second REDF SIF portfolio and oversaw the selection and onboarding of 22 new multi-year grantees. Nicole is responsible for REDF’s data and learning function at REDF, overseeing the creation and maintenance of data collection and analysis systems, and managing our relationship with third-party evaluators. From 2008-2014, Nicole worked for Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF), as Director of Advisory Services, helping the small west coast office significantly scale its business, team, and profitability. Nicole has a BFA from NYU and MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
