As the development and stewardship manager, Brea works within the Development team to advance REDF’s mission through intentional stewardship and strategic engagement. She was drawn to REDF for its strong commitment to equity through employment for people with overlooked potential and untapped talent.
Before joining REDF, Brea spent over a decade working across the nonprofit sector, with a focus on fundraising and donor systems for education, arts, and advocacy organizations. She has developed data-informed strategies to engage donors, and managed the full donor life-cycle, from conducting research and identifying new funding opportunities, to hosting donor events and producing impact reports to convey outcomes.
Originally from Western Pennsylvania, she has a bachelor’s in global policy studies from Chatham University and a master’s in marriage and family therapy from San Francisco State University. When she’s not working, you can find her cooking something ambitious, searching for the next great horror movie, cheering on the Dodgers, or hitting a local trail. She also happily answers to the demands of her elderly chihuahua mix, who runs a very tight ship at home.
