2016 Stuart G. Moldaw Award – Anthony Jackson

The Stuart G. Moldaw award is presented to a REDF-supported social enterprise employee who has demonstrated extraordinary tenacity and courage in overcoming significant barriers to employment. This year’s awardee is Anthony Jackson, a remarkable young man who grew up in one of LA’s toughest neighborhoods, in circumstances that typically don’t just derail a life, but sometimes, end it. With the support of CRCD—the Coalition for Responsible Community Development—a social enterprise that has partnered with REDF since 2011, Anthony has dramatically changed the trajectory of his life and his future. His story shows the power of social enterprise to unlock the potential that is essential to creating the kind of society we can all be proud of.
