Farber Fellows 2001
Kristen Ace BurnsREDF Kristen Ace Burns was an Enterprise Development Farber Fellow at REDF. She provided business assistance across REDF’s portfolio of social enterprises and also managed the Farber Interns Program. Prior to her Fellowship, Kristen was an Associate with Mercer Management Consulting in San Francisco. She also served as Program Manager for a private family foundation in Washington, DC. She holds an A.B. in History with a Certificate in American Studies from Princeton University, and an MBA and Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Kristen led REDF as its President from 2003 - 2006. She currently works at the Grable Foundation as a Program Officer leading Grable’s work on early childhood issues. Karen GooreCommunity Vocational Enterprises, Inc. (CVE, Inc.) Karen Goore was a Farber Fellow at CVE, Inc., where she worked closely with several of CVE’s social enterprises. Before joining CVE, Karen was an Associate Marketing Manager at The Clorox Company. Her background also includes market research, management consulting, and retail experience. Karen received a B.A. in History from Yale University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Karen was Co-Director of Business Enterprises at CVE from 2001 - 2005. Currently, Karen is working as an independent consultant. |
