REDF's first Farber Fellow, Kristin Majeska, MBA '94, Stanford Graduate School of Business, worked for a year with Golden Gate Community Inc.'s San Francisco City Stores. During her Fellowship, Kristin improved the operations of and facilitated the growth of two retail stores employing youth in recovery from drug addiction and homelessness. Previous to becoming a Farber Fellow, Kristin was a Principal at Mercer Management Consulting. Kristin is currently the Founder and President of Common Good Ventures, investing in a portfolio of social enterprises in Maine.
Kim Starkey Jonker
Rubicon Programs
Kim Starkey Jonker, M.Sc.,'95 University of Oxford, M.Sc.'96, London School of Economics, was a Farber Fellow at Rubicon Programs. During her Fellowship, Kim implemented accounting systems recommendations, ensuring that Rubicon's enterprise financial systems would be adequate for planned growth. Previous to becoming a Farber Fellow, Kim was a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Kim graduated from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2001 and is now consulting independently to nonprofits.
